Last Friday, the Federal Supreme Court decided to maintain the 50% reduction of Contributions to System S, proposed by Provisional Measure nº 932/2020 for taxpayers residing in the Federal District. Partner Rodrigo Prado analyzed this decision for Folha de São Paulo and statds that, although SESC and SENAC may still appeal the decision, the trend is that the Full Bench of the STF will maintain the decision.
