On June 5, 2020, the Federal Government issued Decree No. 10,387, which amended Decree No. 8,874, of October 11, 2016, to provide for incentives to finance infrastructure projects with environmental and social benefits. Projects that can be considered priorities for the purposes of issuing green debentures under Law No. 12,431, of June 24, 2011, are those in the basic sanitation sector (water supply systems, sanitary sewage, rainwater management and urban drainage, as well as urban solid waste management).
