Rodrigo is a partner in the Real Estate Law Practice Area. With over 20 years of experience, Rodrigo assists national and international clients, including real estate investment funds and joint ventures, national and regional developers of retail, office and multifamily projects, institutional investors and asset managers in various real estate transactions.

He has extensive experience in advising clients in the purchase and sale of urban and rural properties, for the development of projects involving real estate developments (incorporação imobiliária), agribusiness operations, hospitality services, shopping malls, industrial warehouses, office buildings, subdivisions and residential units etc.). Rodrigo also advises his clients on customary leases or Built to Suit leases, Sale and Leaseback transactions, construction contracts, etc., and also in the structuring of fundraising operations for real estate projects via Capital Market transactions (backed securities, real estate funds etc.).

Rodrigo also has a strong presence in notary and registry activities, advising clients in the interaction with notaries throughout Brazil.

  • Advising a group of private companies in teak projects, involving the acquisition of several farms located in the Midwest region, totaling more than 3,000 hectares in area.
  • Advising securitization companies on CRI issues to raise funds for the development of real estate projects.
  • Advising on the negotiation of a built-to-suit lease agreement for the new industrial plant of a global food company.
  • Advice on structuring a startup to provide hospitality services.
