Ana Cristina is a partner in the Labor and Employment department, with over 17 years of experience in labor and employment consultancy and litigation for both Brazilian and foreign companies. She defends the interests of companies in varied sectors of the economy, and has wide experience in individual and collective actions, as well as collective bargaining. She advises on the reduction of labor liabilities, legal audit, corporate reorganizations, as well as routine employment. She also advises on hiring, firing, benefit plans, stock options, profit participation and internal investigations.  Ana Cristina is recognized as a Next Generation Partner by The Legal 500 and is also recognized by Latin Lawyer, Benchmark Litigation and Leaders League.

Ana Cristina’s recent experience includes advising:

  • A multinational company in research, data and insight on the negotiation with the employees’ Union of a bargaining agreement with emergency clauses due to the global crisis arising from COVID-19 and other economic and social clauses applicable for 2020;
  • A multinational advertising company on the  implementation of work hour control of its employees as a result of a voluntary agreement entered into with the Public Prosecutor’s Office;
  • A leading multinational marketing services agency, which took over 600 employees from the previous bankrupt service provider, in negotiating a service contract with a major multinational client; and
  • A leading multinational company in research, data and insight on the termination of employment contracts, including review and approval of indemnity amounts. The review covered approximately 66 terminations of employment contracts due to the closure of the Curitiba branch.
