Profile

Anneliese has extensive experience in corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial contracts. She graduated in France from the Université de Strasbourg, where she also studied a master’s degree in European Community law. She is qualified with the bar associations in Paris and São Paulo. She has a strong affinity for foreign investors, in particular German and French, having worked as a partner at the German firm Friedrich Graf von Westphalen from 2017 to 2021, with which she keeps the business relationship, marking her strong presence and performance in the Brazil-Germany business scenario. She advises both industrial and financial investors on greenfield projects, acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations, restructuring of business, and debt reprofiling.

Anneliese’s recent experience includes:

  • The reprofiling of indebtedness of approximately USD 500 million for a listed Brazilian company;
  • The establishment of an American multinational group operating in the chemicals sector in Brazil, through an acquisition operation;
  • The establishment in Brazil of a German-Italian group operating in the health sector;
  • The exit, in an MBO operation, of a German group in the civil engineering sector
  • The reorganization of the business of a German company in the industrial sensors sector; and
  • Defining the strategy and implementing the distribution structure in the Brazilian market for German and Swiss companies in the machinery, luxury furniture and healthcare products sectors.
