Marianne Albers is the partner in charge of the Public and Regulatory Law and the Lifesciences divisions at Felsberg Advogados.
In these practice areas, Marianne has dedicated herself mostly to representing companies before certain Brazilian regulatory agencies such as ANATEL, ANEEL, and ANVISA, having led contract negotiations with government agencies, participated in high-profile bidding processes, and represented clients in administrative and court cases involving matters related to administrative and regulatory law.
In the area of Lifesciences, Marianne has accumulated vast experience in providing strategic counselling and in representing both Brazilian and foreign companies before the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA), the National Health Agency (ANS), several local health surveillance agencies and health authorities in general.
She has also assisted her clients throughout the registration process of medications and healthcare products and in obtaining operational licenses, special permits, and permits issued by the local health surveillance authorities. She also assists her clients during discussions on distribution contracts, drafts and reviews internal compliance policies, manages sanctioning administrative proceedings under the framework of the Ministry of Health, ANVISA, and the local health surveillance authorities, and regularly provides consulting on bid-related matters services to the healthcare industry.
