Plans to privatize three airports in 2015
In 2015, the Federal Government intends invoicing R$ 2.976 million with the concession of another three airports to the private sector, i.e. Curitiba, Recife and Cuiabá
It is expected that R$ 1.3 million will be raised from the concession of Curitiba, another R$ 1.3 billion from the auctioning off of the Recife terminal and R$ 376,000 from the privatization of Cuiabá. The new concessionaires will pay the Federal Government 30% up front for the rights granted and the rest in fixed annual contributions across the term of the agreement.
The Government will be receiving other extraordinary sums: concession of the Rio-Niterói Bridge (up to R$ 1 billion); the contract for division of the Pau-Brasil oil field (R$ 3.125 billion); renewal of the energy distribution concessions (R$ 2.26 billion); collection from concession of the Port of Imbituba (SC) for 30 years (R$ 200 million) and two railway lines: West-East (Ilhéus/BA-Barreiras/BA), worth R$ 3.5 billion, and North-South (Ouro Verde/GO-Estrela D`Oeste/SP), worth R$ 2.3 billion.
